North American Power is pleased to announce that we will soon be launching into two of the largest energy markets in the United States: New York & New Jersey!
North American Power will be launching into five new utilities throughout New York & New Jersey: ConEdison, Orange & Rockland, Atlantic City Electric, Jersey Central Power & Light and Public Service Electric & Gas. These utilities combined service over 7,000,000 customers and there is no doubt that entering these markets will dramatically accelerate North American Power's growth.
At our 2011 Kick Off Event, we announced that we were planning to begin acquiring New York customers in February and New Jersey customers in March.
However, upon further analysis of our integration schedule with the utilities and considering some exciting enhancements currently in development, it is now clear that North American Power will be better positioned in these new and exciting markets if we delay acquiring customers by 60 to 90 days.
Before initiating what will surely be a tremendous growth phase for our company, it is crucial that the foundation of North American Power is in place to support this growth.
There are several elements of North American Power that we are currently enhancing in preparation for this rapid expansion into New York & New Jersey.
These enhancements include:
- Finalizing & streamlining the integration of our systems with the new utilities to reduce the frequency of customers pending for more than ten business days or being rejected.
- Strengthening our Compliance department and enhancing our customer verification procedures to make North American Power one of the most compliant energy suppliers in our industry.
- Developing online support resources and growing our Broker Services department to provide even better support to our rapidly growing network of Independent Representatives.
- Expanding our Customer Service department to support the acquisition of hundreds of thousands of customers.
