When North American Power launched on March 1, 2010, we were only able to acquire customers in the two utilities within Connecticut. Since then we have expanded into Maryland & Pennsylvania and four more utilities including BGE, PEPCO, PECO, & PPL. We plan on growing even faster in 2011 and will soon be entering New York & New Jersey!
However, Connecticut, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New York, and New Jersey are just a few of the states to deregulate their energy markets. North American Power's goal is to save residents and businesses money in every deregulated state. However, there are limits to how fast North American Power can expand as the process of obtaining licenses and integrating our systems with new utilities is both time consuming and complex.
That is why we created C&I Energy Solutions, a retail energy brokerage company and a subsidiary of North American Power. Through relationships with the world's largest and most reliable energy suppliers, C&I Energy Solutions can shop the market and offer commercial and industrial customers the lowest possible rates, affordable energy solutions, and innovative products and services in almost every deregulated energy market in the U.S.
